Manly P. Hall is a mystic and philosopher from the early 20th Century. He is known for his long lectures on consciousness, mysticism, mythology, the occult and how all these weave together in understanding the evolution of the soul. In modern times, especially within the truther community, Hall is either revered or hated. His ties to Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, and secret societies lead some to conclude, without merit in my view, that he is a Cabal agent. However, it is more likely that due to Hall’s zeal for research and capacity for conceptual synthesis, he was able to find the common threads within all occult schools of thought, as well as traditional mysticism. In other words, his knowledge of the seemingly darker aspects of mysticism does not, in and of itself, make his work suspect. Those who judge his material without investigation are missing out on a treasure trove of wisdom.
